Kids are in for a treat in this August at Drake Circus, Plymouth - thanks to lots of great activities to keep them entertained at the Centre's popular Summer event.

There's everything from kite making to shark encounters, to art and crafts and volleyball - all designed to keep kids busy at the South West's leading shopping centre.

Aug 3-9 - the team behind the new Mary Poppins production will visit the centre, courtesy of Plymouth's Theatre Royal, to offer kids the opportunity to make a kite - so they can Go Fly A Kite when they get home.

Aug 10 - 16 - The National Marine Aquarium will visit Drake Circus with Hammy the Hammerhead shark - a giant cuddly shark. Kids will have the chance to find out what’s inside his belly and make Super Hero masks to go with the Summer Shark theme.

Aug 17-21 - there'll be some table tennis action when PING! visits the centre, coaching kids on how to improve their ball skills.

Aug 22-23 - Arts and crafts with Plymouth College of Art

Aug 24-26 - try your hand at volleyball and learn some grass roots skills.

Plus there will be face painting, balloon animal making - and much more.
