A search by a national modelling agency in Drake Circus, Plymouth, has discovered two future supermodels.

Mosaic Model Management, were invited to spend a day at the shopping centre scouting for potential models as part of Drake Circus Fashion LIVE, a weekend of fashion and fun.

The Exeter based modelling agency found not one - but two - potential future superstars.

Katie Hannaford from Chudleigh Knighton and Matthew Saltt-Patterson from Plymouth were chosen for their natural good looks and personality.

“We are delighted to have found Katie and Matt,” said Simone Pasley, Founder of Mosaic Model Management, “We have models from all over the world, but it is excellent to have some local models on the books too”.

Katie and Matt were given a £50 Drake Circus voucher each, a make-over and a professional photoshoot to create their first images for their modelling portfolio.

Matt, who is 6’3” said, “I was delighted to be approached by Mosaic in Drake Circus. I’ve had friends tell me in the past that I should consider modelling but I have never pursued it. I had a great time at the photo-shoot. Drake Circus gave us a £50 gift voucher each to go and buy new outfits for the photo-shoot which was really generous. I'd really like to thank Mosaic for giving me the opportunity and the whole Mosaic team for being so friendly and professional".

Drake Circus Fashion Live featured a live roaming catwalk show showcasing the latest fashions from stores such as FatFace, River Island, Next and Cath Kidston.

“Drake Circus Fashion Live was a huge success and it’s great that Mosaic found some good looking local talent in Drake Circus with the potential to forge careers in the fashion world,” said Greg Lumley, Drake Circus Centre Director. “I wish then good luck for the future and hope they will return to see us in Drake Circus when they are well known models!”
