Staff at Plympton Academy celebrate World Book Day

Staff at Plympton Academy celebrated World Book Day this week by dressing up as their favourite literary characters and sharing the stories with their pupils.
Jim Strachan, Head of Year 10, is photographed as Mad-Eye Moody from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire with Claire Worth, Year 7 pastoral mentor, who is dressed as Hermione
Grainger. Other Plympton Academy staff dressed as their favourite literary
characters including a Harry Potter, several Queens of Hearts, an
astronaut, Arthur Dent from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
(centre) and a Handmaid from Margaret Atwood's Handmaid's Tale.
