Plympton Academy receive cheque donation for new books

Plympton Academy will soon have lots of new books for students to enjoy thanks to a donation from the Freemasons Lodge of Fidelity.
The local charity donated £125 to the school library. Two members of the lodge visited the school to meet students and hand over the cheque.
Mr Rean from the Freemasons Lodge of Fidelity said; “It was a pleasure to meet the students and hear all about the books they enjoy reading. I am sure they will spend the money on new books to enjoy.”
Eleven year old student, Theo Clancy said he loved reading. “I am currently enjoying the ‘Power of Five’ series by Anthony Horowitz.”
Fellow student, Joshua Tucker explained he had reads loads and loads of books since starting at Plympton Academy. “Now we have got this money we can buy some new ones."
