A big thank you to Newton Ferrers Tuesday Lunch Club whose members have donated £473.60 to Derriford Hospital's Gold Dust Appeal.

The club holds a monthly luncheon – in Newton Ferrers WI Hall - with a guest speaker and donates lunch money to smaller, local charities.

The last three months have been in aid of Gold Dust.  This week Emma Cronin, Gold Dust fundraiser, was the guest speaker and delivered a talk to 60 people.

Emma said: “The Tuesday Lunch Club has been incredibly generous and we are very grateful for the members’ support. This will really help us reach our target of £100,000.”

Gold Dust is aimed at raising £100,000 to transform the children’s wards, creating a bright, welcoming environment on level 12 at Derriford Hospital.

This will include tactile, colourful and interactive displays for patients and their families.
