Just One Week to Go: Olympian Jamie Baulch to Join Expert Panel at London’s Transatlantic Fundraising Event
Olympic medallist and BIDAID founder Jamie Baulch is set to join the expert panel at the Transatlantic Fundraising event on 6 November 2025 at the British Library, London.
The event, hosted in partnership with US agency Creative Fundraising Advisors and UK consultancy Gifted, will bring together 50–60 charity leaders to explore the opportunities and challenges of fundraising across the UK and United States.
Baulch, who established BIDAID (bidaid.com) as a global silent auction platform designed to support inclusive, technology-driven fundraising, is expected to share his experience in delivering large-scale international campaigns. His participation will highlight strategies for combining innovative event formats, hybrid technology, and digital engagement tools to maximise impact.
“Fundraising has no borders,” said Baulch.
“Joining the panel is a chance to discuss how charities can successfully navigate transatlantic fundraising and build lasting connections with supporters.”
The Transatlantic Fundraising programme will address key themes for the sector, including:
- The Culture of Philanthropy – embedding a giving mindset within organisations.
- Structuring a Campaign – preparing effectively for fundraising in both the UK and US.
- Building Relationships that Last – long-term donor engagement, including “Friends of” or 501(c)3 structures.
- Major Gifts vs Mass Participation – balancing high-value donors with broader acquisition strategies.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in workshops, interactive sessions, and an open “Ask Us Anything” forum, gaining practical insights from sector experts to strengthen international fundraising efforts.
