Police are appealing for information after a laptop was stolen during a burglary in Plymouth.

A property in Windermere Crescent, Derriford, was broken into sometime between 7am and 6pm on Tuesday 3 May 2016.

Officers believe the offender entered the property through a dog flap in the back door.

A black 18 inch by 12 inch Acer laptop, worth £420, and a number of items of jewellery were taken after an untidy search of the house.

PC Steve Austin, Local Investigation Team based at Crownhill, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area that day, or who has been offered a black Acer laptop for sale.”

Anyone with any information is asked to email 101@dc.police.uk or call 101, quoting reference CR/028890/16.

Information can also be passed anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or reporting online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org
