The Plymouth office of national law firm Bond Dickinson LLP has confirmed the appointment of four newly qualified solicitors, after it retained all of its trainees upon qualification.

The new team members, who will join the 180-strong Plymouth office, have all accepted their positions in the Construction, Commercial, Real Estate and Commercial Litigation teams. They will have the opportunity to work across the firm's eight key sectors of expertise: retail, energy, financial institutions, insurance, manufacturing, transport, real estate and private wealth.

Sam Lee, Head of Recruitment at Bond Dickinson, said: "We know that our people are our biggest asset as a law firm. We are proud to offer our trainees one of the best training programmes in the country, providing the highest standards of mentoring and equipping them with the essential skills and commercial acumen to stand out in this increasingly competitive legal market."

Craig Moore, Partner and Head of Bond Dickinson's Plymouth office, added: "Our firm is committed to the development and success of our employees and we are thrilled that our trainees have made the decision to pursue their careers with Bond Dickinson. It is a testament to the excellent working environment and the breadth of opportunities we provide as an employer."

More than 54 trainees are currently training with Bond Dickinson, including five in Plymouth in their first and second year.

Last month, Bond Dickinson also won 'Newcomer Employer of the Year' at the South West Regional Apprenticeship Awards in recognition of the legal apprenticeship scheme the firm offers. Bond Dickinson was amongst the first law firms to make legal apprenticeships available, with the first apprentices joining the business in 2014.

Bond Dickinson, which was ranked as a top tier law firm across 36 practices by leading law firm guide Legal 500, is a dynamic full service practice, based in seven offices nationally - Plymouth, Southampton, Bristol, London, Leeds, Newcastle and Aberdeen.
