Dates for next year’s MTV Crashes Plymouth have been confirmed and music fans can get their hands on tickets from Monday 21 December.

The spectacular live music event, organised by MTV in collaboration with Plymouth City Council, will be returning for its third year on Plymouth Hoe on the evenings of Thursday 28 and Friday 29 July 2016.

MTV Crashes Plymouth has grown year-on-year and has seen thousands of people enjoy chart-topping headline acts for a fraction of the cost of other UK festivals. The 2016 two-day event will be even bigger and better, bringing a number of top artists and huge hits to the South West.

The Council is partnering with Plymouth Pavilions for the sale of tickets, which can be purchased for either night or as a bundle package.

Tickets will be available for purchase from 6.30pm on Monday at www.plymouthpavilions.com/mtvcrashes and from 10am on Tuesday on the Ticket Store hotline (0845 146 1460). Calls cost 2p per minute plus your phone company's access charge.

The ticket price for each evening is £12.50, plus a booking fee of £2 and there is a limit of eight tickets per person per evening. Alternatively you can buy tickets for both nights together for £25, plus one £2 booking fee.
Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult on Day One and Day Two is for 16 and overs only.

Plymouth City Council Leader Tudor Evans said: “Due to the high demand for MTV tickets we are absolutely delighted to be able to confirm the date of the event and to open the sale for tickets prior to Christmas. For those of you who are stuck for last-minute present ideas this could provide the best unique Christmas gift ever!

“I am also really pleased that this year we are partnering with Pavilions, a local company, with regard to the ticket sales. Make sure you set reminders on your devices as we are expecting a surge of bookings and we don’t want you to miss out. This is extremely exciting news – Merry Christmas!”
