Stephen Gray, Chair of Judges for Media Innovation Awards said: “The Media Innovation Awards 2015 couldn't have gone any better. We had some great entertainment to start the night, got to see some superb talent from the South West new media sector, being justly recognised, and finished with time to network. The region has done itself proud in creating and organising an awards ceremony that not only showcases the height of talent for the South West, but connects all the attendees with other media professionals across the UK, which leads to stronger future collaborations.”

Adrian Emerson, Chair of the Media Innovation Network said: “It was an inspirational evening. I think guests were impressed by the incredible quality of the work, but also the way that so many creative outputs are being offered cross-platform. These are companies that are producing content in very diverse and rich ways and I thought that was really noticeable.

“We’re a really small region in numbers terms, but creativity tonight showed how far above our weight we punch. An excellent awards night leaves people wanting to collaborate, to revisit their own projects and with a determination to enter next year. Bring it on.”

The Media Innovation Awards were sponsored by: Plymouth University, University of St. Mark & St. John, Falmouth University, Altitude, Tellonline, Elixel, Blackfriars Contracts, Dom Moore Photography and Silverstream TV.

After 9 successful years, the Media Innovation Awards are now firmly established as a leading award ceremony for the creative industries. The awards are organised by the Plymouth based Media Innovation Network, which offers companies and individuals working in the sector the opportunity to develop skills, access online resources, share knowledge and attend a fascinating programme of events.
