Specsavers Plymouth awarded for excellence

A PLYMOUTH opticians has been awarded a prestigious company award for clinical excellence.

Specsavers in Plymouth beat hundreds of other Specsavers stores to the title at the company’s Awards for Excellence, held earlier this month in the Birmingham ICC (International Convention Centre) attended by some 1,000 staff members.

The Armada Way store was recognised for the award following its achievements in company assessments and customer satisfaction surveys.

Specsavers Plymouth store director, Philip Gray, said: ‘Winning this award is brilliant. The team have put in so much effort – a huge amount of work.’

Judge and director of optometry advancement, Paul Morris, said: ‘There is a real culture of clinical professionalism throughout the Plymouth team. They have shown great proactivity in the local community in GP and stakeholder groups.

‘It is thanks to their dedication and bespoke solutions based on insight and investment, and staff training at all levels from college qualifications to Phd level that they won this award. Congratulations to all the team.’
