This programme will explore musical ties from both sides of the Atlantic ocean, on Dvořák’s footsteps in the vast plains of Iowa, on to the streets of Rio de Janeiro and in a jazzy New York City. The selected programme spans almost 300 years of musical exchange between the ‘old’ and the ‘new’ continents.
