Newbridge, at Gunnislake, will reopen to traffic from 7pm today (Tuesday 18 February), ahead of schedule.

The bridge was closed at the beginning of February when a van badly damaged the parapet and a section of the bridge.

Engineers and stone masons have worked hard to have the bridge reopen as quickly as possible.

Diversion signs will be removed on Wednesday morning...
