Elder is latest summer signing for Plymouth Albion

Plymouth Albion have announced the signing of 20-year-old full back and utility player Chris Elder from Esher Rugby Club.

The Wasps Academy graduate scored 100 points in 27 appearances for the National League One side last season.

Centre, Pale Nonu, 34-year-old brother of All Black star Ma'a Nonu has been signed from Rotherham Titans. The 23-year-old Ben Woods, who can play either at centre or full back, joins from Dublin's Old Belvedere club.

Shanahan will be discussing his plans at a special event on Thursday 23 May at 6pm at the Kier Marquee.

The 24-year-old hooker Jon Vickers has left Brickfields to join Championship rivals Nottingham, Plymouth Albion have revealed.

Vickers' departure will be a loss but Albion will welcome the signatures of flanker Sam Matavesi, 21, prop Ben Rogers, 20, and scrum-half Paul Rowley, 25 who have all agreed a new one year deal.
