A 51-year-old man and his 8-year-old daughter have been killed and four other members of the same family injured in a speedboat accident in the Camel Estuary near Padstow harbour.

The man has now been formally identified and named as Nicholas Milligan, from Wandsworth in London. Nick Milligan was a television sales executive for Sky. His daughter has not yet been named.

Plymouth police are appealing for witnesses following an incident in a city fast food restaurant.

On Monday 22 April at around 10pm two men entered the KFC Octagon in Union Street and ordered food. A dispute with staff followed where it is alleged that one of the men used abusive and racist language towards the victim.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a reported assault on a 14-year-old girl in Plympton.

The incident took place between 3.15pm and 3.30pm on Friday 19 April 2013, at the junction of Larkham Lane and St Marys Road.

A 38-year-old woman from Ernesettle is due to appear before Plymouth Magistrates this morning (Tuesday 30 April 2013) charged with murder.

Man engulfed by fire in police Taser incident dies of his injuries

The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) are investigating whether the discharging of a Taser gun by a police officer led to the death of 32-year-old Andrew Pimlott who sustained serious burn injuries.
