Willmott Dixon Developments strengthens Wales and West team
NATIONAL developer Willmott Dixon Developments has strengthened its team in Wales and the West of England with the appointment of senior development manager Tom Lowry.
Tom joined the business in June, bringing extensive experience in planning, regeneration and development delivery gained through roles with Plymouth City Council and regeneration developer Urban Splash.
Having spent much of his career working across the Southwest, Tom has contributed to a number of landmark regeneration projects, including Royal William Yard in Plymouth and Swansea Civic Centre.
In his new role, Tom will support regeneration opportunities across Wales and the West of England, including the landmark Torbay regeneration partnership.
Through the 10-year partnership with Torbay Council, Willmott Dixon Developments, alongside developer Milligan, is helping to unlock investment and deliver long-term regeneration opportunities across the bay, supporting the transformation of town centres and creating lasting benefits for local communities.

With a focus on creating places where health, education, culture and commerce come together, Willmott Dixon Developments' and Milligan’s work in Torbay includes the Strand Boutique Hotel. With early stages of redevelopment underway, delivery of the new hotel will boost the region’s high-end tourism offering while also generating year-round employment and training opportunities for local people.
Other major projects include the redevelopment of Union Square in Torquay town centre and the transformation of the former Crossways Shopping Centre in Paignton into a community-focused development.
