Beyond the Shoreline

The Plymouth Arts Collective, a group of six artists brought together by a shared love of creating, exhibiting and celebrating art, is delighted to be presenting Beyond The Shoreline Exhibition at The Brownston Gallery.  

The Collective's artists Micahael Battley, Derek Haydon, Robert Housely-Jeive, Stephen Ladds, Sharon Shaw and Richard Stimpson work in a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolour and pencil. Their artwork reflects a wide range of interests, inspirations and individual styles from street scenes and seascapes to traditional landscapes, figurative and still life compositions, each bringing their own experience, perspective and creative approach to the Collective. As well as enjoying the process of making art, the group values the opportunity to show their work. Having originally met through membership of a Plymouth-based Arts Club, friendships grew through their shared enthusiasm for creativity and artistic expression. The diversity of styles, subject matter and techniques creates a varied and engaging collection of work that will appeal to a wide range of tastes.

The private view for the exhibition is happening on Friday, 3rd July from 6-8pm - everyone is welcome.  Beyond the Shoreline will be on at The Brownston Gallery's pop-up studio in Modbury until the end of August.
