Craft Festival Bovey Tracey Town Trail celebrates craft, creativity and local heritage this June.

In partnership with Bovey for Business & Craft Festival, visit Bovey Tracey this June and discover a celebration of craft, creativity, and local history.

Brand new for 2026, Craft Festival Bovey Tracey Town Trail will run from 1–29 June, inviting visitors to explore a unique pairing of contemporary craft and historic town centre spaces.

The trail brings together a selection of Bovey Tracey’s independent shops and venues, each highlighting the work of a leading maker member from MAKE Southwest, alongside the story of the building they occupy. From handwoven textiles and glasswork to ceramics, botanical printmaking and wool-based design, the trail highlights the richness of craft practice in the Southwest while revealing the hidden histories of Bovey Tracey’s streets and buildings.

‘The Craft Festival Trail gives us the opportunity to showcase great makers from Make Southwest whilst also highlighting the history of our high street and the fantastic retailers that we have in the town. I hope visitors enjoy exploring Bovey and collecting the Trails stamps along the way. I am delighted that Craft Festival can support the businesses in Bovey’.  Sarah James MBE, Director, Craft Festival

Visitors are encouraged to follow the trail at their own pace, moving between venues to discover how contemporary makers are inspired by landscape, tradition, and material, and how these creative practices sit within buildings shaped by centuries of local trade, industry, and community life.

The Town Trail offers a free, accessible way to experience Bovey Tracey’s creative identity, supporting independent businesses while celebrating the town’s heritage as a centre for making and trade.

Pick up a map from Trail venues: The Cheese Shed, MAKE Southwest, Clive Parker Optician, Bovey Larder, Grace and Favour Home, Pom Stitch Tassel and from Bovey Tracey Information Centre.

‘Grace & Favour Home are delighted to be included in the Craft Festival town. It will be a great celebration of both craft and the town of Bovey Tracey, showcasing the area’s links to craftsmanship throughout its history. Craft Festival always brings a buzz to the town, and we look forward to sharing our British made gift shop with residents and visitors alike’.  Steve Jones, Grace and Favour Home

Craft Festival Bovey Tracey takes place on Mill Marsh Park from Friday 12 – Sunday 14 June.
