Moorland Fuels Sales Manager achieves top industry honour at national UKIFDA Awards 2026
Andrea Williams, Sales Manager at Okehampton-based Moorland Fuels, has been recognised for her outstanding customer service at the national UK and Ireland Fuel Distributors Association (UKIFDA) Awards 2026.
Facing stiff competition from the very best customer service teams in the fuel sector, Andrea was announced as the winner of the Customer Service Award at the prestigious annual UKIFDA Expo & Conference held in Liverpool on 15-16 April.
Working for Devon-based Moorland Fuels, which provides commercial fuels, heating oil, and lubricants across the South West, Andrea’s unmatched customer service skills shone through.
Judges recognised her team leadership, customer first attitude and her passion for building bonds. They also applauded her commitment to going above and beyond the call of duty, regularly getting out on the road to check on customers, and delivering emergency supplies to those in need out of hours.
Andrea was also recognised for the passion that she has in developing new initiatives that have played a key part in Moorland Fuels’ ongoing growth and success.
Andrea commented: “It’s incredibly heartening to be recognised by the fuel industry for the work that that we do to help our customers when they need us most. Running short of heating oil or fuel can be distressing for businesses, farms and particularly for vulnerable customers, for whom we’re quite literally a lifeline. Receiving the Customer Service Award from UKIFDA is a wonderful personal accolade, but it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my amazing colleagues, and the customer first focus that we have as an employee-owned business.
