East Devon creatives and culture organisations to receive new funding
Arts and Culture East Devon (ACED) announces new round of the popular Creative East Devon Fund.
East Devon culture organisations and creatives looking to fund a new cultural project, festival or event can access support through a new round of ACED's Creative East Devon Fund.
The Creative East Devon Fund provides discretionary financial support to local art & culture initiatives and projects that can demonstrate a commitment to developing the East Devon Cultural Strategy.
The programme offers funding for culture projects taking place between April 2026 and March 2027.
Applications are now open: Creative East Devon Fund application. The deadline for applications is 9 March at 4pm. Applicants are encouraged to read the FAQs before applying.
Sarah Elghady, EDDC Cultural Producer commented, "We really welcome a wide range of applications. The projects can be across any art form (music, dance, theatre, heritage, craft, digital and visual arts, as well as literature) and we are particularly interested in projects which are looking to:
- Celebrate East Devon’s natural environment and inspire people to protect and enhance it
- Grow the visitor economy in East Devon as part of the Tourism Strategy
- Provide improvements which enhance local cultural venues
- Improve the cultural offer for young adults (18-30 years) in East Devon."
Councillor Nick Hookway, Portfolio Holder for Culture, Leisure, Tourism and Sport said, "I really do encourage creative communities to engage with The Creative East Devon Fund to allow growth and creative endeavour to flourish."
This scheme is funded through East Devon District Council. Funding is subject to ratification by East Devon District Council.
