Orchestral Workshop
POCO - Plymouth Open Concert Orchestra, formerly the University of Plymouth Orchestra, is pleased to invite instrumental players to an orchestral workshop: 'Holst's Planets' where we will be working on selected movements with our Music Director, Dan Francis.
All orchestra instrument players welcome, who can read music.
Saturday 25/10/25 at the Levinsky Hall on the University of Plymouth Campus.
Meet at 10am for 10.30am start. Lunch break from 1-2pm. At 4pm the players will present an informal concert.
Refreshments will be available for a small fee - please bring cash as we do not have a card reader. Please bring your own lunch and a music stand if you have one.
Tickets to take part are £10 (concessions available) and can be booked via the Orchestra Facebook page.
Please note that all players aged under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Parking at the University is very limited so parking at Plymouth Mall or in nearby streets is advised.
