It is open between May and September. You’ll have to pay a minimal fee of £5 for spending the entire afternoon there, which is absolutely worth it.

6. Crownhill Fort

Explore the underground tunnels and cannons at the Crownhill Fort. It has a massive dry moat and multiple rampants, which you’ll have fun investigating with your friends.
