The Broadway Shopping Centre prepares for Royal wedding celebration

With just days to go until Harry & Meghan tie the knot, The Broadway Shopping Centre is transforming itself into a ‘royal zone’ to celebrate the special day.

Buckingham Palace will be sending two of their most trusted Royal Guards to Plymstock on the wedding day (Saturday 19th May, 11am - 3pm), to carry out ‘Royal Acts of Kindness’ for local shoppers, as Miss Markle and His Royal Highness prepare to say “I do”.

Locals will be treated like royalty, as the Guards hand out free sweet treats, as well as pose for selfies with children and families.

The centre will also be hosting its very own royal themed social media competitions, giving shoppers the opportunity to win great prizes on the lead up to the big royal moment.

Centre Manager, Mark Berry, said: “We love bringing the community together with our events and the Royal Wedding is certainly no exception.

“Our team and retailers are embracing total royal mania at the moment and we can’t wait to invite local shoppers in to get involved in all of the fun packed activities we have planned next week!”
