
Police appeal after serious assault at Plymouth nightclub
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an assault in a Plymouth nightclub which left a man unconscious.
The assault took place near to the revolving dancefloor in Popworld, Union Street, around 1.55am on Friday 29 December.
A 24-year-old Plymouth man was punched by another man, causing him to fall down and hit his head on a metal bar. He was knocked unconscious and treated at Derriford Hospital for concussion.
Police are investigating the assault and asking for anyone who was in the club and witnessed the incident to come forward.
