Plymouth Access to Housing (PATH), have been accepted as one of the local charities for the Co-operative Community Fund until October 2018.

The local charity, based in Harwell Court, helps some of the city’s most vulnerable residents by providing a range of services to those in housing need.

Residents of Plymouth can help Path by signing into their Co-operative membership account and selecting Path as their chosen charity. Every time a purchase is made on selected Co-op brands and services, Path will receive a 1% donation, helping fund their vital tenancy support and bedding packs.

“We are very pleased and grateful to have been selected by the Co-op” explains Mike Taylor, the Director of Path.

“We hope to raise some much needed funds to help up support this service and the people of Plymouth.”

Over the last 2 years, whilst helping and moving people into private rented accommodation, Path has seen an increase from individuals and families who don’t have the basics.

Requests for items, such as bedding and basic household goods, has increased by 97%, highlighting the need for the charity in the city.
