Overnight closure of eastbound off-slip at Deep Lane junction
The eastbound off-slip of the Deep Lane junction off the A38 will be closed overnight for nine evenings, from Monday (10 October).
The off-slip of the junction near Plympton will be closed from 8pm to 6am each evening to enable resurfacing to be carried out as well as work on signals, road markings and utility connections.
The official traffic diversion route will be signed via the A38 Lee Mill junction, continuing onto Plymouth Road, merging onto the A38 slip road heading towards Plymouth and then taking the B3416 exit toward Plympton. Advance warning signs will be in place at the A38 Marsh Mills junction to give motorists the opportunity to use alternative routes into Plympton, if they choose to do so.
The overnight closures are part of the ongoing improvements to replace the existing Ridgeway Roundabout with a signalised junction to increase capacity and improve traffic flow at the B3416 Deep Lane junction. The scheme is scheduled for completion by the end of Spring 2017.
