Appeal after theft from Tavistock restaurant

Police in Tavistock are appealing for information after the theft of cash from an Indian takeaway in the town.

The offence happened at Curry Nights in West Street on Friday 23 September sometime between 9.50pm and 10pm.

Police are investigating the burglary and appealing for anyone who saw the men at or near the premises or witnessed any suspicious activity in the West Street area.

A 35-year-old man from Gunnislake has been arrested on suspicion of burglary with intent to steal and has been released on bail until 26 October 2016.
