Saturday 6th September sees a new addition to the Pavilions’ events calendar for 2014 – an annual Cider Festival!

With free entry for all, family fun to be had and music and cider drinking until late (all under cover so come rain or shine), the Summer’s End Cider Festival promises to toast an end to the summer holidays in style!

With hay bales, barrels and tractors aplenty, you could be forgiven for thinking you had stumbled into the Westcountry’s biggest indoor country fete, but alas, there will be no cake stalls or WI meetings, just lashings of cider – over 30 different varieties in fact from the likes of Cornish Orchards, Westons, Black Rat, Sandford Orchards and Orchard Pig of Somerset, exciting food offerings and live music to get your glasses clinking!

For kids we will have the Little Pip’s Apple Juice Bar, face painting, traditional fairground rides, bouncy castle, visiting animals and of course plenty of ice cream and candy floss to keep everyone happy.

Live music acts have been confirmed as the Plymouth Ukulele Players (back by popular demand from our Beer Festival!), the foot stomping Dr Thud’s Remedy and Hot Diggety rounding the evening off in style with their signature barn-rattlin’ tongue in cheek take on modern pop classics.

For more info please visit www.plymouthpavilions.com/ciderfest.

Doors open from midday until late with FREE ENTRY, cider prices from £1.80.
