Life for man who murdered Plymouth mum
David Wilder, 42, from Plymouth has been convicted of the murder of Kerry Power in Plymouth on December 14 2013.
Wilder pleaded guilty to murder when he appeared before Taunton Crown Court today (18 July). He was sentenced to life imprisonment and will serve 17 and a half years imprisonment.
Following the hearing, Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Inspector Nassaris said: “I welcome the life sentence today for the selfish murder of Kerry which was committed by a controlling and manipulative individual.
“The investigation team would like to pay tribute to the family who have conducted themselves with dignity and courage throughout, especially Kerry’s 10 year old son Ollie”.
