It has been confirmed that this evenings Premier League meeting with the Ipswich Witches has been postponed due to the wet weather forecast.

Plymouth believe the result of their Premier League match against Ipswich at the St Boniface Arena tonight (Friday, 7.15pm) could have a crucial bearing on the remainder of the season, writes Graham Hambly.

Co-promoter Ashley Taylor says: "Friday will be a really big meeting for us against top class opposition and it will set out the stall for what we can do for the remainder of the season.

"We gave ourselves a boost with our home win over Redcar last Friday, but it is important that we show some consistency by winning regularly in front of our home supporters."

A win over Ipswich in the league would give the Skills Group Devils a boost ahead of their meetings with the Witches in the semi-finals Premier Knock-Out Cup later in the season.

It would also give them a lift before taking on a couple of tough away matches this weekend at Berwick on Saturday and Newcastle on Sunday.
