Prince's Trust thanks local volunteers

Youth charity The Prince’s Trust said ‘thank you’ to its South West volunteers at a celebratory event at the Theatre Royal Plymouth last week (Friday 6 June) during National Volunteers’ Week.

More than 20 volunteers attended, making it the perfect opportunity to share their experiences about working with young people and exchange best practice. They were also treated to a backstage tour of the theatre.

With over 19,000 young people in Plymouth currently unemployed, Prince’s Trust volunteers are essential to help them meet their potential. Three in four young people helped by The Prince’s Trust move into work, education or training.
