Pedestrian seriously injured in A30 collision with HGV

A pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision with an HGV on the A30 near Launceston on Sunday (21 April).

Devon and Cornwall Police report that the incident happened at around 1.05pm. The man was attending to his broken vehicle on the A30 east bound when the collision took place.

Police say the HGV was a white Renault.
 
The road was closed to allow collision investigators to examine the scene and recover the vehicles.

Police would like to hear from any witnesses or anyone who saw either of these vehicles immediately before the incident.  Please call police on 101 quoting log 433 21/04/2013.
