GO2, organisers of the Plymouth 10K, sponsored by Mansbridge Balment are reminding runners that there are just a matter of days left to secure their place in this years highly anticipated Plymouth 10K.

Taking part on Sunday 2nd November, the official closing date for entries is midnight Monday 13th October. Places are racing out of the door, so don’t miss out! Runners can look forward to pounding the pavements of the largest 10K road race in Devon and Cornwall, on a fast, relatively flat, traffic-free route through the city centre.

Jamie Warren, Head of Marketing and Commercial at GO2, said: "If you are one of the many runners setting the challenge of running Plymouth’s Half Marathon in 2015, the 10K race is the perfect race to enjoy a taster of what to expect from the big day next year. If you are toying with the idea, and maybe need to see how you fare with a shorter race, the 10K is also a very achievable distance to test those legs and stamina!”

“We have limited places available now for the 10K, so for all of our regular runners, we would highly recommend signing up now to avoid any disappointment! Book your place by visiting www.plymouth10k.co.uk”

The 10K course will start on Princess Street at 08.30am, taking runners along Royal Parade, into Exeter Street and along Embankment Road, where they will then loop back on themselves for the return route finishing back at Princess Street.

To book your place in the 2014 Plymouth 10K, visit www.plymouth10k.co.uk where you can register online. Official charity partners for the race are Cancer Research UK and Children’s Hospice South West.
