Blizzard arrives at Home Park as Gurrieri stays

Another busy week for manager John Sheridan has seen Plymouth Argyle capture the 27-year-old midfielder Dominic Blizzard from Westcountry rivals Yeovil Town and secure the services of Argentinian Andres Gurrieri.

Following midweek announcements of his backroom staff for next season, Sheridan has continued putting his squad into place for the 2013/14 season.

Blizzard, a graduate of the Watford academy, has enjoyed spells at Stockport County and MK Dons. The versatile midfielder was released by newly promoted Championship side Yeovil at the end of last season.

Fellow midfielder Andres Gurrieri, 24 this week, has signed a new one year deal after the expiry of his existing contract.

Sheridan confirmed three more members of his coaching team last week. Sean McCarthy returns to Argyle as first-team coach having spent two spells at the club as a player between 1988-1990 and 1998-2001.

John Harbin has been announced as Performance Manager, while John Sheridan's brother, Darren Sheridan becomes Chief Scout.
