Rural Business Awards Success
The Outdoors Group is delighted to have been named a winner in the Rural Business Awards South West Region.
The business picked up the award for Best Rural Recreational or Outdoor Pursuits Business Award and will go on to represent the region in the national finals in 2022.
This is the second year in a row that the innovative business, which provides outdoors-based educational and recreational activities in Devon, has had success in these awards having won the same award in 2019/20.
One of the founders, Tom Lowday says “This is a fantastic accolade, not just for the business but for everyone involved - from our team members who are dedicated to what we're trying to achieve, the families who trust their kids to our care and the adults who choose to train with us.
“They are the ones who make what we do work and we are so grateful for the support and encouragement that we receive on a daily basis.”
The Rural Business Awards recognise businesses throughout the rural sector, celebrating those who take up the opportunities presented by the countryside as well as their achievements.
The Outdoors Group provides a range of activities including forest schools, The Outdoors School, training for teachers, volunteers and forest school leaders, school clubs, birthday parties and a selection of outdoor experiences.
