Police seek man following Plymouth assault

Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a serious assault in a Plymouth street.

The incident took place outside the city’s college of art and design in Charles Street at around 9pm on Tuesday 8 April.

The victim was punched and knocked to the floor in an unprovoked assault.

The 43-year-old victim received a serious cut to his cheek which required stitches.

The suspect (pictured) is described as being in his late 20’s/early 30’s, 6ft-tall, of heavy build, with a slight beard and wearing a dark top with ‘EVERLAST’ logo across the front, blue jeans and a red flat cap.
