Police make arrest for attempted murder

A 22 year-old man from Plymouth was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Sunday morning.

The victim, a local 21 year-old man, was found by Police and Ambulance crews with stab wounds to his body and face in Victoria Road, St Budeaux after being called to the scene

The victim was treated at the scene before being taken to Derriford Hospital where he was treated for his injuries, which are not considered life threatening.

The 22 year-old was later arrested by Police and taken to Charles Cross Police Station where he currently remains.

Police enquiries are continuing and officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area of Agaton Road towards Victoria Road, around 8am on Sunday 1st December, or who may have witnessed an altercation between two men in the street or a man leaving the area at that time.
