Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a man in his 70s who has been missing from his Tavistock home for several days.

Alistair Conhey, 76, was reported missing from the Silent Lady Park area of Tavistock.

Neighbours had become increasingly worried after not seeing Alistair for more than a week.

Alistair will probably have a dog with him that answers to the name of Rory.

Alistair is described as being 6ft tall with short white hair. He is said to be unshaven and may have a dishevelled appearance. He is believed to be wearing a blue fleece, a tan coat, black trousers and  black shoes.

Officers are seeking the public's help in locating him as he is classed as high risk and vulnerable due to his age and medical issues.

Anyone seeing Alistair, or with any sightings or information as to his whereabouts, is asked to please call police immediately on 999 quoting ref. 289 of 13 February 2014.
