Police appeal after serious assault

Police in Plymouth are appealing for information following a serious assault.

Officers are investigating a serious assault which occurred at around 10.00pm on Friday 27th February, during a ‘Royal Blood’ rock concert at the Plymouth Pavilions.

The incident occurred at the rear of the dance hall and during an altercation the victim, a man, aged in his late 50’s was pushed to the floor and then kicked to the face and head several times.

As a result of the assault he sustained injuries including a fractured eye socket.

The concert attracted fans from across the South West and Officers are appealing for witnesses, and in particular are keen to speak with two women guests who approached a security guard to report the incident.
