Police appeal after Plymouth assault

Police are investigating an assault which happened outside The Walkabout on Union Street, Plymouth, in the early hours of Sunday 30 October 2016.

At approximately 12.30am, a 24-year-old man was allegedly hit to the ground during a verbal argument whilst in a queue outside of the Walkabout pub.

The victim sustained a fractured cheekbone and jawbone and lost several teeth. He was also knocked unconscious.

A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and was released on police bail pending further enquires.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident who can help with the investigation.
