Police appeal after assault in Plymouth nightclub

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in an unprovoked attack in Plymouth.

The incident happened at Pryzm Nightclub, Barbican Leisure Park at around 3:50am on Sunday 26th March.

An altercation took place on the dancefloor in the ‘Ice Room’, a 19-year-old man acted as the peacemaker and was subsequently hit in the face with what is believed to have been a thrown glass bottle.

The victim was taken to hospital where he was treated for a cut to his left cheek which required stitches.

Police believe there were a number of witnesses present and would like to speak to anyone who may have information that can help with enquiries.
