Shantelle Clarke, the 15-month-old toddler who fell from a fifth-floor window of her home, has been moved to a specialist care unit in Bristol. She remains in a "critical but stable condition".

The girl suffered serious internal injuries after the estimated 100ft (30 metre) fall from the window of her home just off Savage Road, in the Barne Barton area of Plymouth on Saturday morning (7 September).

Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene of the incident which happened just before 8.30am on Saturday 7 July. The little girl was quickly taken to hospital.

Devon and Cornwall Police are continuing to investigate to establish exactly what happened.

Simon Clark, managing director of Sanctuary Housing Services which owns the block of flats, said: "We are doing all we can to assist the police in their investigations and our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time."

Devon and Cornwall Police say they are not treating the incident as suspicious.
