Personal injury specialist Charlotte Morgan has been promoted to the position of legal director by Plymouth-headquartered Enable Law as the firm continues to strengthen its South West presence.

Charlotte will drive forward Enable Law's personal injury work across Devon and Cornwall following her promotion which follows a series of successful complex and high-value cases in which she has secured multi-million-pound settlements for clients.

Charlotte said: “I am naturally thrilled to have been appointed legal director because Enable Law is a law firm with a strong commitment to supporting clients through the most challenging periods of their lives.

"It’s been great to have been part of the Enable Law journey as we've grown. Now I'm looking forward to collaborating with colleagues to strengthen our position as the go-to law firm for people who've sustained serious injuries, helping them secure compensation and access rehabilitation and support they need to rebuild their lives.”

Charlotte, who has formally moved into her new position today, has progressed through Enable Law after joining parent company Foot Anstey in 2014.

One of her most notable cases saw Charlotte secure compensation for a former soldier diagnosed with a neurological disorder following a training incident.

She also supported the family of a man who suffered fatal injuries in an accident at work, and a young man who suffered catastrophic injuries in a road traffic collision as a teenager.

Charlotte's ability to secure the best possible outcomes for her clients is driven not only by in-depth expertise, but also by personal experiences.

Early in her legal career, she navigated significant personal and professional challenges, including family bereavement, supporting a loved one through recovery from a serious road traffic incident, and adapting to a lifelong medical diagnosis.

Charlotte, who is based at Enable Law's Plymouth office which overlooks Sutton Harbour Marina, added: “At Enable Law, we place our clients at the heart of everything we do, and that commitment truly makes a difference.

"I feel that my personal experiences have allowed me to understand and relate to clients who are facing very complex personal circumstances.

"But I'm incredibly grateful to the colleagues, mentors, family and friends who have supported me throughout my career so far."

Enable Law is now established as one of the UKs leading medical negligence, personal injury, mental capacity and education law firms, and alongside its Plymouth HQ, it has teams at offices in Exeter, Truro, Southampton, Bristol, Taunton and London.

Rob Antrobus, Head of Enable Law, said: Charlotte is a top-class solicitor who has played an important role in Enable Law’s regional growth.

“She has the expertise, ability and insight to relate to Enable Law clients which empowers them in turn to build strong relationships of trust with her which ultimately results in better outcomes for their legal cases."
