Pedestrian seriously injured in Plymouth collision

A pedestrian has sustained a serious head injury after being in collision with a car in Plymouth.

The collision between the man and a Vauxhall Vectra happened in Keyham Road, Stoke, at 9.25am today (Friday 25 July).

The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, has been taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.

Keyham Road is currently closed and is likely to remain shut for some time. Traffic diversions are in place and police are asking drivers to avoid the area for the time being.
