Thousands of people in Plymouth are already enjoying the Ping! Plymouth table tennis festival.

Around 2,500 participants attended the Ping! Plymouth launch on Saturday 13 June and the new Ping Parlour (old Disney store on Armada Way) is also now open every day.

The Parlour regularly has 300 – 400 people passing through its doors and there are also 30 free table tennis tables spread across the city, and you can also join in.

Councillor Peter Smith, Deputy Leader of Plymouth City Council, said: “Ping! has been a great success so far and all of the sites are free. It’s on until 9 August, so come and grab a bat and have a ball!”

• Brickfields Sports Centre
