Open Farm Sunday at ice cream headquarters

A free day out for all the family at Surfing Cow Ice Cream’s headquarters on Sunday, June 9, come along to Open Farm Sunday at South Battisborough Farm and see the cows being milked, the calves being fed and the sheep being shorn.
A new enclosed picnic area is perfect to sit and enjoy the sea views, and at over an acre in size great for the kids to have a scamper about too.
All afternoon there are tractor and trailer rides around the farm, stalls from local business to browse, a barbeque with local sausages on the grill, samples of cheese and milk from milk company Arla to taste, and of course Surfing Cow Ice Cream to tuck into too.
The fun begins at 11am, and there are free goody bags for children, first come first served!
All in all it’s a great way to spend the day
