Park for half the summer price with the new simplified winter parking offer, from Saturday 1 November 2025 to Tuesday 31 March 2026, at East Devon District Council (EDDC) car parks*.

You will be able to park for less than £2 at most of EDDC's car parks for up to two hours and the new charges are expected to increase the availability of spaces at some of the busiest locations. Free parking will also continue to be offered on Sundays in Axminster, Honiton, and Ottery St Mary.

To make use of the new winter offer, use the RingGo app on your mobile, entering the location code for the car park you are in, or by using the map selection on the app. Alternatively, buy a paper ticket from one of the machines using either cash or card.  Please see car park signage for car park tariffs and any maximum stay restrictions.

With Christmas approaching, EDDC's winter car parking promotion encourages people to shop local and support their High Street. Enjoy a day out this winter, exploring what East Devon has to offer, without having to rush back to your car. The reduced car park charges are expected to boost trade throughout the traditionally quieter winter season.

Councillor Sam Hawkins, EDDC's Portfolio Holder for Finance, said:   “I’m delighted that the council is offering a winter parking offer for a ninth year – encouraging residents and visitors to explore our wonderful district and support local High Streets.”

“The new offer means that some short parking stays will be cheaper than in previous years, and it should be easier to get a space at the most popular locations."

Visit EDDC’s car parks map to plan your next trip, and for more information about the offer, visit the frequently asked questions page.

*Please note that Sideshore Car Park in Exmouth, Otter Estuary Nature Reserve in Budleigh Salterton, and Lyme Street in Axminster, are not included in the offer as they are managed by EDDC but are owned privately.  Parking at Mamhead Slipway, overnight motorhome and coach parking are also not part of the promotion.
