Devonport residents will be able to meet their neighbourhood policing team at the Festival of Fun day this Sunday.

From 12-6pm the police team will be running a stand with the police cadets at the Stonehouse Creek Social Club.

There will be kids’ fingerprinting and police dressing up as well as some handouts. Officers will also be taking a police car and a community bus to the event.

The fun day is in aid of the Henry Hallam Appeal and there be lots going on including a disco, face painting, sumo wrestling suits, bouncy castle, stalls, funfair stalls, an assault course, party games, competitions, Dora the Explorer, Peppa Pig, Ben 10, Fireman Sam, Drake’s Den bus, food and a raffle.

PCSO Rose Thorpe said: “It promises to be a great family day out – money will be raised for a really worthy cause. Come and see us at the police stall to see what we have to offer!”
