Man charged with murder after woman's body found in Plymouth

David Wilder, 41, of no fixed abode, was charged with murdering 36-year-old Kerry Power when he appeared before Plymouth Magistrates Court this morning.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Plymouth Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on 14 January.

Update (16 Dec): Police have charged a man with the murder after a woman was found dead at a property in Tailyour Road, Plymouth in the early hours of Saturday 16 December.

David Wilder, 41, from Crownhill, is due to appear at Plymouth Magistrates Court this morning.

The victim has been named as Kerry Power from Crownhill.

A man has been arrested after the body of a 36-year-old woman was discovered at a house in Plymouth.

The victim, who has not yet been named, was found at a property in Tailyour Road in the Crownhill area of Plymouth at around 9.45am.

A 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being held at Crownhill Custody Centre.

A police spokesman said the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death are being investigated.
