Local housebuilder supports Bradworthy Bowling Club Triples Tournament

Local housebuilder, Allison Homes South West is supporting Bradworthy Bowling Club as part of its ongoing commitment to the community.

Earlier this month, Allison Homes South West sponsored the Open Triples tournament afternoon. The sponsorship went towards the cost of prizes and providing competitors and guests with refreshments.

Michele Jones, head of sales and marketing at Allison Homes South West commented “We are thrilled to be able to show our support for Bradworthy Bowling Club and sponsor their Open Triples Tournament.

“Allison Homes is committed to supporting communities and initiatives close to our developments that help contribute to the local community. The club is currently recruiting new members and we hope our new homebuyers will be able to enjoy the benefits of the club.”

Bradworthy Bowling Club was opened in July 1985 and is owned and maintained by its members. Facilities include a six-rink green and spacious clubhouse with a kitchen and bar. New bowlers are welcome, as the club offers tuition and numerous sets of bowls available to try.

Later this year, Allison Homes South West will be launching a new development in the village of Bradworthy. Primrose Meadows will offer a selection of 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom traditionally built homes.

Bradworthy offers a variety of amenities including a popular community pub, a post office, an artisan butcher, a general store and GP surgery. Each year, Bradworthy puts on a carnival with a colourful procession and community events.

The village is a short distance away from many popular sites and attractions, such as the Hartland Devon Heritage Cost, the towns of Bideford and Holsworthy and the beautiful Tamar Lakes.
